Expert Dog Training
At LF K-9, we specialize in training pet dogs, sport dogs, protection dogs, and law enforcement dogs.
LF K-9 was founded by Ben Langston, a law enforcement canine trainer with over 8 years of dog training experience, Ben began his canine career in 2017 as a certified decoy (helper) for law enforcement canines. In 2018, he was selected as a canine handler for a large Florida sheriff's office and was paired with K-9 "Valor" a dual purpose (patrol/narcotics) dog from Hungary. For 6 years, "Valor" and Ben worked as a team on the streets of Jacksonville, FL ending their law enforcement canine career with hundreds of apprehensions, numerous engagements, and over $1m worth of drug seizures. In 2024, Ben became a Florida Department of Law Enforcement K-9 Team Trainer, and NePoPo Silver School Graduate. After "Valor's" retirement, Ben left law enforcement to pursue his dream of training dogs full-time. Since the beginning, Ben has continuously pursued training and constantly looks for ways to improve himself as both and trainer and a handler. He has had the privilege of training with the following recognized trainers:

We currently team up with T-3 K9 Protection & Obedience in St. Johns County, FL for law enforcement, protection dog, and sport dog work.

Behavior Modification
Is your dog demonstrating unwanted behaviors (showing aggression toward other people/dogs, counter surfing, jumping on the bed, etc? We can help fix that!
Leash Training
Is your dog pulling on the leash during walks and making it difficult for you to enjoy your time together? Our leash training programs can teach your dog to walk beside you on a leash and to quit yanking your shoulder out.
Basic Obedience Package
Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Kennel, and Here aren't just meaningless words. They are words to live by that every dog should understand and be able to perform. Let us help your dog learn and execute basic commands that will keep everyone happy (including the dog)!
Potty Training
Is your dog struggling with potty training? Our trainers can help you establish a routine and teach your dog to use the designated potty area with positive reinforcement techniques.
Protection Dog Training
