Our Mission

At LF K-9, we believe that every dog deserves a chance to thrive. Our mission is to provide balanced, effective training solutions that enhance the bond between dogs and their owners.

Meet Ben

Lead Trainer & Owner

Shortly after leaving the US Army in 2013, I began working with dogs as a pet dog owner to a high-drive Labrador Retriever.  Little did I know that would catapult me into the world of professional dog.  Here I am, 12 years later as a professional dog trainer, including 7 years as a law enforcement canine handler and trainer.  Being able to teach and help both dogs and their owners is a privilege, and I am honored to be able to work in this field.  Dog training is more than a job to me: it is my passion!

Law Enforcement Canine Team Training

Free

Always free! Just contact us.

1 on 1 Obedience Sessions

$50 hourly

Bring your best furry friend to us for some 1 on 1 training.

Sport, Personal Protection, Bite Work

$100 hourly

Bring your sport dog or personal protection dog to us for some quality bite work with a certified decoy.  We have the training and the tools to help build your dog's drives and skills.

Professional Decoy Instruction

$50 hourly

Learn basic and advanced decoy skills from a certified law enforcement decoy instructor. Just bring your bite suit or whatever equipment you choose.  Learn to be a good helper and safely work dogs. 

Boarding

$50 per day

We have indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor housing available for all dogs. Simply drop off your best furry friend along with their favorite food and we take care of the rest. Rest assured your dog is in good hands and will love their stay here (no training).

Board & Train

$3,000

We have indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor housing available for all dogs. Simply drop off your best furry friend along with their favorite food and we take care of the rest. This 30-day program includes us teaching the dog an on-leash walk, sit, down, kennel command, recall, and place command. This is for those busy dog owners who want a well-trained dog but don't have the time to do it themselves.

We Come to You

Training at your location

1 on 1 obedience session

$100 hourly

We bring all of our knowledge, training, and equipment to you (within a 40 mile radius).

Sport, Protection, Bite Work

$150 hourly

We bring the certified decoy, equipment, and training for some quality training. We train at your location (within a 40 mile radius).

Professional Decoy Instruction

$100 hourly

Learn basic and advanced decoy skills from a certified law enforcement decoy instructor. We bring the classroom, dogs, and party to you. Learn to be a good helper and safely work dogs (within a 40 mile radius).
